The NFL's back, and so is Tim Tebow. Love him or hate him, the running theme throughout every report is that Tebow is the epitome of a nice guy, but an awful NFL quarterback. He doesn't deserve some of the abuse that flies his way, nor does he particularly deserve a revered place on a top NFL roster. The Eagles are giving him a shot, and like the split among fans, Tebow was good and bad. The home fans gave him a rapturous welcome to the field, so much so that he had to gesture to quieten them down in time for his first throw. On his first drive Tebow went 4-of-5 for 43yds and did indeed make some good throws, though it didn't take long for his old habit of dwelling on the ball to rear its head and he suffered for it. But then just when you didn't think he could be any more 'Tebow', the QB rushed for a 7yd touchdown. He received a standing ovation, showing the crowd is on his side in Philly, but there's still a lot for Tebow to do if he is to secure his position.
