He was the clear choice for the 2012 NFL Most Valuable Player Award after having one of the most memorable seasons a player could have. And yet, Peterson is a very humble individual, despite setting lofty goals for himself publicly. On Twitter, Peterson is always on and interacting with the fans. He tries to get his fans involved in the charity work he does in the Minneapolis community, especially for those that involve children in need. One of his latest posts was for a child undergoing brain surgery, and wanted the fans to keep him in their prayers. Nobody asked Peterson to do this, he just does. On and off the field, Peterson is definitely an MVP, while getting the titles of poster boy and role model at the same time.
