1. Mark Sanchez
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR7w27PRWQw This is a no brainer. Geno Smith should and will take over the driving seat in New York this season. Sanchez has proven that he isnt the answer for the Jets anymore and will need to take a seat on the bench for Geno. Geno still has a lot of work to do, but I think he should be good to go when week one starts. The Jets need a new identity with that entire Tebow saga and media attention they had last season and I believe Geno is the answer in New York. Geno needs to work on his mechanics this off-season, but I believe he can polish them up for training camp. I was high on Geno coming out of the draft for a lot of reason. He was great arm strength and is able to zip the ball in tight windows; he shows good poise in the pocket and doesnt mind taking a big hit every now and then. He is also a mobile quarterback that can take off when he needs too; however, he looks to pass first which is a good thing. Geno has high expectations this seasons and I think he can easily win the job over Sanchez. Sanchez has had a rough couple of years and Jets fans are waiting for him to be cut. I hope he finds another team and has success because he has been through a lot of criticism in New York. Its kind of odd what happened to Sanchez because he led the Jets to two straight AFC Championship Game appearances, but then just lost his game. Sanchez is in big trouble now since Geno has entered the building and I believe Rex is excited to see what Geno can bring to the table.
