2. Michael Vick
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d35rPD_bBgc This is bound to come sooner or later. I have no idea why Michael Vick was signed back in the first place. Yeah I understand people think that new coach Chip Kelly needs a mobile quarterback to run his offense, but that is completely false. He needs a smart quarterback that can run a high tempo offense that can think on the spot and throw the ball accurately. Their best bet is Nick Foles or Matt Barkley in my opinion. Vick isnt going to handle the quick thinking offense that is vital to Kellys offense. This offense will probably be similar to the New England Patriots offense and I dont think Vick can handle it. Even if Kelly wants to run a spread option, Vick will probably wind up getting injured like always. Countless times have we seen Vick make mistake after mistake and just keeps putting the Eagles in a hole. I think Foles deserves a shot at the starting quarterback job because of what he did last season. He played under one of the worst offensive lines in the league and had no weapons to throw to and still out performed Vick. Barkley is a very smart and accurate quarterback which makes me believe he can win the starting job. Hell be able to handle Kellys offense and can put this team on a winning track. With a much better offensive line Foles and Barkley will have plenty of time to throw. Foles has a big frame with a strong arm, but is inconsistent on his accuracy whereas Barkley as a smaller frame with a accurate arm but with average arm strength. Either one will succeed under Kelly, but I think the Eagles will be making a huge mistake letting Vick start on day one.
