Once Batman and the Vancouver Canucks left the cities that loved them until they lost, life went on and it was like nothing had ever happened. While Bruce Wayne came out of self-imposed hiding to find his overall value had plummeted to barely being able to provide for himself, Vancouver had their one year removed former all-star goalie Roberto Luongo taking bets on where he would be playing next year after being replaced by the back-up goalie, who went 1-2 in the playoffs and was crowned starting goalie for the 2013 season.

1. The Future

While there is already talk of another Batman reboot in the coming years, which will be guaranteed to sell over-priced movie tickets to the faithful, the Vancouver Canucks continue to demand big dollars for their entertainment value. While both franchises will maintain consistency to the brand they represent and the product tie-ins that marketing will embrace, look for a new cast of characters to be introduced to a new generation of faithful who will begin their stories with "I remember back when..."
