Norwich City: 5 Reasons Lee Clark Should Be Made Manager

4. The Jordan Rhodes Factor

With Grant Holt now following Paul Lambert out of the club, and a large hole set to appear at the head of Norwich City's attack (Steve Morison cannot cope alone), Norwich need at least one new striker. In the shape of Jordan Rhodes, they might recognise a comparatively affordable lower league option who might see the opportunity to play at a smaller Premier League club to continue his development before possibly moving on to a so-called "bigger" club in a couple of years. Importantly, with a number of suitors no doubt ready to throw their hats into the ring to vie for Rhodes' attention, the Scottish striker might just be more likely to rejoin the manager who brought him to Huddersfield to start his transformation into a striking sensation. Clark knows Rhodes, and how to get the best out of him, and if he is sensible enough to resist the overtures of higher Premier League teams to develop his abilities in a slightly smaller pond, he will probably enjoy an easier transition to the biggest stage of English football.
