One Player That Would Improve Every Premier League Team Next Season

It will perhaps never be said out loud by any Newcastle fans, but Steve Bruce has done an excellent job. They are arguably even more solid now than they were under fan-favourite Rafa Benitez and even survived more comfortably. However, not all is entirely rosy with the Toon as they have been bereft of a decent striker for too long now.

Joelinton has been a monumental failure. Meanwhile Wolfburg's towering CF, Weghorst, has been quietly making real waves over in the Bundesliga. The giant Dutchman has been in great form in front of goal. He is an excellent poacher of goals and also has the physicality that Bruce often looks for in his front-men.

Weghorst is that rare breed of an effective target man who also manages to be utterly prolific with chances that fall his way, something that Newcastle's current strikers have certainly not been. He will get on the end of crosses, his movement in the box is exceptional and he puts the ball in the back of the net.
