Premier League: 10 Managers Who Should Never Have Been Sacked
10. Neil Warnock - QPR When Neil Warnock was named as the new QPR manager in 2010, he became the club's 5th manager of the season, and the team was just 3 points above the relegation zone. However, after an upturn in from, Warnock led them to a comfortable 13th place finish. Results continued to improve into the 2010/11 season with QPR eventually winning the Championship and being promoted back to the Premier League for the first time in 15 years. However, Warnock was sacked just 6 months into the 2011/12 season, with QPR lying in 17th place in the league. After new owner Tony Fernandes had promised to invest in January, it had seemed Warnock would be given the chance to bring in the players to turn things around but it wasn't to be. Considering how things have gone for QPR since then (with the club currently 20th in the league) perhaps they would have been better of sticking with the man who had got them into the league in the first place.
