Premier League: 5 Eredivisie Imports Set To Shine

2. Alexander Buttner €“ Vitesse to Manchester United

One of Manchester United€™s weakest areas last season was the two full-back positions. Patrice Evra has looked a shadow of his previous World-class self in the past couple of years and their comedy pair of Brazilian twins Fabio and Rafael have failed to improve to fill the gaps. 23-year-old Dutch left back Alexander Buttner should provide competition for places and if he can hit the ground running he could become the long term replacement for the receding Evra. Buttner is coming off his best season in Holland, which saw him force his way into the Preliminary Euro 2012 squad. Love him or hate him Fergie is the best in the business when it comes to rotating his squad and giving everyone game time so Buttner will certainly get the chance to impress.
