Club: Chelsea Ivanovic has been out injured since December, but still makes the team due to the immense presence he demonstrates both defensively and offensively when in the Chelsea side. The Serb is somebody who both opposition defenders and attackers fear and hate to come up against, and it's no surprise that he is rated as one of Chelsea's most successful signings under Abramovich. Ivanovic's strength and physicality at the heart of the defence makes it extremely difficult for attackers to create and put away chances, and opposition defenders often struggle to cope with his physical presence within their penalty area, with the 29-year-old regularly bagging goals from set-pieces. And for those reasons, it's difficult to leave Ivanovic out of the team, though it was a tough choice between him an Everton centre-back Phil Jagielka.
