Premier League Transfers: 10 Ligue 1 Players England Needs
10. Daniel Wass - Evian
Highly-rated Dane Daniel Wass was part of the Evian side that were relegated from Ligue 1 last season, meaning it's almost a certainty he will be moving on in the summer. Wass is a player who has been linked with a whole host of Premier League clubs over the years, including Sunderland, Southampton and Tottenham, but his future whereabouts remains unknown. Wass prefers to play as a winger, albeit on the right side, but is also able to do a job as a right-back. He also has a lethal free-kick in his armour, check out his scorcher against Guingamp, it's fairly decent. Wass is a sturdy, hard-working player who has ability to make it in England, having previously been signed by Benfica in 2011, after impressing for Danish giants Brondby. Wass' price will have plummeted following Evian's relegation, expect him to leave for well under £5 million, a bargain at today's rates.
