Julian Draxler is another very talented German attacking midfield playing his club football for Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. I think he would be a fine addition for any Premier League club, and at 20 years of age represents an excellent option for the long term. His club currently sit seventh in the league, and by all accounts are having a strong season. However, the World Cup and Champions League football are significant pulls for talented players these days. Obviously, its likely he will go to Brazil with Germany, but he may feel that a big move could secure his place as a regular in the side. So far, he has played 10 times for his country, and will certainly want to vastly increase that number. All top players want to play in the Champions League and may feel a move increases his opportunity of playing in the elite European competition next season.
