Conor's one and only UFC fight in Dublin, this was a memorable night. Brandao was no slouch whatsoever - but you wouldn't know it watching this.

Again McGregor's opponent changed late, as Cole Miller dropped out with a thumb injury. Conor set the tone early, walking straight out of his corner and landing a spin kick to the body. McGregor then stunned a lot of people by taking down Brandao early on. Not exactly the strategy you'd have drawn up for this fight against a Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, but Conor stayed out of trouble. When the fight was back on the feet, Brandao was there for the taking.

McGregor cut off the octagon, and started to land the left hand with regularity. A left cross sent Brandao to the canvas, and Leon Roberts stepped in to save a turtled up Brandao, much to the delight of the home town crowd in the O2. McGregor cut the famous "We're not here to take part, we're here to take over!" promo after this fight.

Many of his contemporaries sneered at this line, believing McGregor was being protected on his way up the featherweight ranks, and that he'd be exposed soon enough.
