Ranking The Best Football Transfers In Europe During Summer 2019/20

19. Giovani Lo Celso - Tottenham

With rumors of Christian Eriksen's departure from Tottenham continuing to gain traction, the North London side had to bring in a suitable replacement to be their main playmaker. While there were rumblings as to whether or not they'd get Phillipe Coutinho from Barcelona, they've snagged fellow La Liga player, Giovani Lo Celso, from Real Betis instead.

The 22-year old midfielder is part of a new generation of Argentinian talent and he might just be the cream of the crop. His biggest strength lies in his attacking prowess and how smart he is at utilising his skills.

He showed this while playing for Real Betis , where he was one of the most prolific goal scorers in their team. He can also dribble the ball exceptionally well, so he has the ability to leave defenders in his wake.

Eriksen's ability to pass the ball around the pitch won't be half as missed with Lo Celso in the line-up either. Not only has he got the same ability to spread the ball around, he's also not afraid to get stuck in, despite not being the most robust of players.

Whether or not he can adapt to the Premier League quickly enough is a different story. However, if he can, he'll be a welcome addition to an already strong Spurs side.
