Ranking The Best Football Transfers In Europe During Summer 2019/20
18. Adrien Rabiot - Juventus
Although he was known for having a bad attitude while at Paris Saint-Germain, there have never been any doubts about Adrien Rabiot's talents as a footballer.
The 24-year-old Frenchman has an undeniable presence in the centre of midfield and can seemingly do it all. He can play the defensive role as he's good at winning the ball back in the middle of the park. However, he's also solid in the final third of the pitch too. In the 2017/18 season, he managed to bag five goals in 50 games. That's not a bad haul when you've got the likes of Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe in your team.
The fact that Juventus were able to snap him up for a free is really a fantastic move for them. On his day he can be an exceptional midfielder and an absolute handful for other players on the pitch.
The real issue with Rabiot is that he's got a bit of a reputation. He's acted in certain ways that would make any coach or team wonder if he's worth the bother. While Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is taking a major risk, if it pays off, the reward will be a great one.
