Real Madrid Transfers: 10 Players Zidane Should Sign
3. Paul Pogba
One of the main talking points of the last two transfer windows has been the eventual destination of Paul Pogba. In a mere 4 years the player has gone from being unable to get ahead of Darren Gibson in the Manchester United pecking order, to arguably the most complete midfielder on the entire planet. As The Mirror reported earlier in the year, wherever he goes, he's likely to command a figure in the reaches of £100million. Which narrows down his list of potential destinations to only a handful of the game's top clubs. Manchester City have been constantly linked, as occasionally have Chelsea, but if Zidane is looking to stay at Madrid's helm for the long-term then building the team around a player of Pogba's calibre is a solid first step. Beyond the French connection (whey), Zidane would also be a near-perfect role model for Pogba. Already an incredibly powerful and graceful midfielder with an eye for goal, Zidane could help Pogba develop his vision and ingenuity - two attributes which would, if well incorporated, potentially make him one of the greatest players of his generation. A big challenge for both men, but if they can first convince Juventus to actually sell then clearly anything is possible.
