Real Madrid Transfers: 10 Players Zidane Should Sign
2. Eden Hazard
One obstacle Zidane is faced with at Real Madrid is, bluntly, his president Florentino Perez. The latest unceremonious dethroning of a Real Madrid manager (the club's 14th manager in 12 years) means that his practices are being firmly scrutinised by both fans and media alike. Namely, his penchant for picking his latest favourite player, buying them, and forcing whatever manager is in charge that week to build yet another team around them. However, with The Guardian reporting that the latest player to sit atop his wishlist is none other than Chelsea's Eden Hazard, it's not a problem Zidane will need to worry about too much in the near future. Despite hopes at Chelsea that the recent change in management will lead to a resurgence in form from the Belgian, Hazard's position remains that of a player who was firmly in the want-away stage before his dip in form. From parading around in a swapped PSG shirt post-match last season, to his entire attitude in this, it's time for the Belgian to move on. After hovering just beneath the reals of world-class for a few years, it's important that Hazard moves to a club where he'll develop as a player. It's easy to forget that he's only still 24 years old, and despite his string-pulling at Chelsea is still someway off the finished product. If there's any footballer he should be watching videos of before he goes to training each morning, it's Zidane, and the opportunity to learn from him directly is one he'd be foolish to pass up.
