4. A Great Midfield
Tottenham's midfield, which Bale is a part of, is solid throughout. Sandro was arguably one of the players of the season until his injury brought it to a premature end, his replacement Scott Parker (who hasn't lost a game in 11 league appearances this season) has been his ever-reliable self, Moussa Dembele (pictured) has been the signing of the year and Aaron Lennon has had a resurgence in form that has seen him recalled to the England setup. Gareth Bale isn't winning the ball on his own, as good as he is, and without these kind of top quality players around him providing a balance Tottenham simply couldn't function as the free-flowing unit they currently are. The hard-tackling, the interceptions and non-stop running of the Spurs midfield as a whole is essential to their plight.
