Spurs Transfers: 10 January Replacements For Roberto Soldado

7. Mattia Destro (Roma)

Spurs have been linked with Mattia Destro before - but with the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea also having been linked, it might be a good idea to make a move for him sooner rather than later. He undoubtedly knows where the goal is, having scored 13 goals in 20 appearances for Roma last season €“ and he has already notched three times for his side this season, as they sit in second place in the Serie A table with six wins from seven games. The 23 year old has seven caps for Italy, in which he has scored one goal €“ against Malta in his country€™s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign €“ and he is certainly one for the future. Destro wouldn't come cheap - he'd likely cost around £20 million - but, if he could replicate his Serie A form in the Premier League, he'd be worth every penny.
