Spurs Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer
5. Anthony Martial (Man Utd)
For all the "lads, it's Spurs" talk, the fact that the club are now able to pursue one of Manchester United's best players with a degree of confidence that they will get their man is a sign of how far they've come.
That said, after spending two seasons under a manager who doesn't seem to rate him, Anthony Martial would probably accept a move just about anywhere (so long as they could match his exorbitant Old Trafford salary, obviously).
Presuming he hasn't been too scarred by his time with Mourinho, the Frenchman will be a massive coup who whichever side snaps him up this summer, offering both pace and tricky on the flank and an additional option through the middle.
For Pochettino, whose side were all too reliant on the goals of Harry Kane this term (and the three before that), his arrival would be doubly welcome. Just make sure he knows that England's number nine gets the final say on who scores.
