Spurs Transfers: 5 Realistic Striking Options To Guarantee Goals Next Season

1. Romelu Lukaku

Arguably, the best striking option that could become available to Spurs is another Belgian - Romelu Lukaku. Remarkably, the striker is still only 20 years old, which makes him the youngest player on this list, but he already has two very good Premier League seasons on his CV. Last season, on loan to West Bromwich Albion, the Chelsea player scored 17 Premier League goals. This season, on loan at Everton, he already has 13. If Lukaku does become available for a permanent transfer - which seems likely, given Jose Mourinho's apparent views on the striker - Spurs would undoubtedly have a fight on their hands for his signature (with Everton themselves at the front of the queue, one would imagine), but they certainly have the financial clout to bring him in and they could be the kind of club he'd be interested in signing for. Recent links between the player and the club suggest that it's a real possibility that Lukaku could be a Lilywhite by next season - and that would be a fantastic coup for the White Hart Lane club. So there you have it - five realistic striking options to guarantee goals at White Hart Lane next season. Do you agree? Which other strikers should Spurs be looking at to bring goals to the club?
