Of the six mentioned, Paris Saint Germain are the least likely, you would imagine, to bring in a player as red hot worldwide as Bale is. Ligue 1, France's top league, is not in the same caliber as La Liga, the Premiership or the Bundesliga. However, the French club's sheer spending power gives them, potentially, as much chance as anyone to bring Bale in from Spurs. They have spent astronomical sums of money in recent seasons, on the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Javier Pastore. They also have a world class manager in Carlo Ancelotti. With a man of his ability in charge, the potential to win European trophies is certainly there, especially with someone like Gareth Bale joining their growing list of big names. The big question for Bale would be whether or not he would be willing to go from playing in a league as competitive and highly regarded as the Premiership to the less reputable Ligue 1. This, at the end of the day, will become his main focus and will need to keep him competitively satisfied. If he is more interested in the best footballing move, he will surely look at one of the previous 5 clubs mentioned. However, if Bale is more money-minded with his career ambitions than people currently believe, then a lucrative move to Paris Saint Germain is definitely possible.
