2. Eagles Flying High
If Palace manage to win their next two games against Bournemouth and Swansea, they will get to the midway point of the season on thirty five points which would be a phenomenal achievement for the South Londoners. Put into context; at the same point in the previous two seasons Palace were languishing on sixteen points. That is huge progress. It would be hard to imagine Palace can maintain their form from the first half of the season throughout the second but if they were to replicate their late season form from the previous two seasons then they could seriously be challenging for a top four place. It's a crazy suggestion and one that most would look at as being rather silly but Manchester United, Spurs, Everton and Chelsea don't seem particularly capable of, or bothered about, going on a good enough run of form to push Palace out. With the addition of one or two players to bolster the squad, Palace could find themselves right in the end of season shake up.
