On Friday, Palace co-chairman Steve Parish announced that the club had secured £100 million investment from the owners of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, Josh Harris and David Blitzer. Since the talks began around eighteen months ago Palace have gone through two managers and a dangerous flirt with relegation so, with the club having its best ever start to a Premier League season and a manager in charge that the players and fans trust, it feels like the investment couldn't have come at a better time. Harris and Blitzer will have watched their first game as co-owners from America in the early hours and would no doubt have felt that their investment and the early start were well worth it.
