Swansea City: 5 Managers Who Could Replace Brendan Rodgers

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Current Club: Molde Odds: 20/1 The "baby faced assassin" has certainly been mentioned a lot in the British press in relation to Premier League vacancies over the past six months. Since leaving Manchester United as reserve team coach and his success with Norwegian team Molde, Solskjaer was linked with the Sunderland, Aston Villa and Wolves jobs whilst available but opted to remain in Norway. With Aston Villa still without a manager and Solskjaer seemingly not taking interest in the role, would Swansea opt for him? It would certainly be a surprise to see the Norwegian turn down a team of Villa's stature to link up with Swansea but it could be a sign of changing times for both teams. As for what Solskjaer would bring to the club? A passion for football, good knowledge of the Premier League and very strong links with Manchester United - something that could prove to be very valuable for a team wanting to avoid "second season syndrome".
