Top 5 Potential Bosman Signings

3. Nemanja Vidic

David Moyes has endured a difficult start to his career as Manchester United boss and with news of Vidic's latest comments it appears as though it will not get any easier. Speaking to Italian station Radio CRC, Silvano Martina (Vidic's agent) claimed that his client has no plans to stay at Old Trafford. "Vidic, given his contract situation, has several teams looking at him," said Martina. "Vidic is a very good player and will have no trouble finding a new club. For the time being we are remaining calm. "However, at the moment, I would rule out an extension with Manchester United." Vidic's departure would be a bitter blow for United. The Serbian has represented the club almost 300 times since joining them in 2006 from Spartak Moscow. Vidic went on to take up the captaincy of the side in 2010, leading United to the Premier League title that same season. However, since then the 32-year-old has suffered two knee injuries and other niggles have also hampered his fitness. Naturally these are a concern for United, but the club remain keen to keep hold of his services. With six months left on his deal Vidic is now able to talk to interested parties, with cash-rich Inter Milan supposedly harbouring an interest. Many clubs will undoubtedly be tempted by the prospect of signing the United skipper on a free. Despite his age he is still a fantastic competitor and one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
