UFC: 10 Candidates For Anderson Silva’s Next Fight

8. Patrick Côté

Here's one out of left field: Patrick Côté. The French-Canadian striker wasn't faring too badly in his original match with Silva, which was for Silva's belt back in 2008. The match would end due to injury, however, so the argument could be made that there's unfinished business. Côté was released by the UFC after losing to Tom Lawlor and Alan Belcher subsequent to the Silva loss, but a solid run outside the company saw him brought back, and he's 3-1 since his return. He has dropped down to Welterweight for his last two fights, but could no doubt head back up if Silva wanted a tune up fight before tougher competition.
