UFC: 10 Reasons Jon Jones Went From Good Guy To Bad Guy

4. Jealous Of Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey No one wants to see a Bentley driving millionaire complaining about their job. But In a Feb. 2014 interview with Bloody Elbow, Jon Jones seemed a bit jealous that UFC women's bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey was getting more attention than he was. His words:
"We don't always see eye to eye with the UFC, so I don't know if they are always necessarily pushing me and whether that's a smart idea on their end or not, who knows? I do know that they are pushing Ronda Rousey really hard, and she's gotten a lot of great opportunities. I don't know what they're going to do, but I'm pushing myself all the time so, I'm not really worried."
Rousey later responded saying, "I feel like, I'm owed a little bit of help, dammit. I had to do so much to get to this, I'm not going to complain about it." She added, "I might be getting some help from the UFC now and I appreciate all their support, but, to get to this point there's been a lot of spots where I didn't have any help at all." It's true Rousey has benefitted from her success as the UFC's first ever women's champion, and single-handedly changing Dana White's mind about bringing a women's division into the UFC. She's starred in several major motion pictures and has appeared on numerous late night talk shows and magazine covers. Don't hate, Jon! You've at least got Gatorade and Nike -- that's not too shabby!
