UFC: 10 Reasons Ronda Rousey Is A Victim Of Her Own Success

2. Her Work Rate And Fight Schedule Means She's Cleaning House Quick

John Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesJohn Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesThe women's bantamweight division just can't produce opponents as quickly as Rousey knocks them off. It's not that there aren't good prospects out there - it's that Rousey fights more often than any other UFC champion. She has talked about having short fight camps and being ready to fight on twenty-four hours notice. Name me one other champion who works like that. Name one. Most champions like to sit back and game plan. Rehab. Ensure they're at their best. It's understandable. Guys who fought at a quick pace slow once they win gold - because they don't want to lose it. Rousey doesn't seem bothered by that. Besides, if she eventually does lose (and everyone usually does), she'll no doubt get a rematch very quickly.
