UFC: 10 Reasons Ronda Rousey Is A Victim Of Her Own Success

1. She's So Aggressive Opponents Are Caught By Surprise

Ronda Rousey I asked for one other UFC champion with the work rate Rousey has. Willing to fight just months apart, not once but consistently. She was willing to do that twice in a year (the quick turnaround between UFC 168 and 170 being the first time, the panned UFC 175/176 idea the second), and might have had she not needed stitches in her hand after the Alexis Davis fight. Now name another champion who is as aggressive as Rousey in the octagon. She charges across the cage to meet opponents. She goes in throwing. She's so confident in her skill set that she doesn't even consider losing to be a possibility - at least that's how it looks. And it works, as a result. Again, it all adds up to make us think that she has it easy, but the reality is, Ronda trains harder, and executes her skill set better, than almost any other fighter out there today. She's a victim of her own success - but she's going to stay successful for quite some time.
