Well that's the big question, isn't it? What will come of all this? It does not look good for Jones. Some fans and media members are already calling for him to be stripped of his UFC title, something that would be unprecedented for a fighter of his calibre. To date, titles have been stripped due to long-term injury and performance enhancing drug use. Outside of that? Jones has a right to a fair trial, but other leagues have acted outside of, and prior to, legal action in the courts. The NFL has begun to crack down hard on code of conduct violations in the wake of multiple abuse scandals, for instance. Should the UFC follow suit here? It is an option, but it may not be one the UFC will willingly take. More than likely, they wait to see how it plays out in court, but the chances of Jones fighting at UFC 187 are looking increasingly slim. Long term? This will be the point that Jones either turns things around in his personal life, or the point we look back at to pinpoint just where a great career went wrong.
