9. GSP vs. Thiago Alves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-LXXmBp3E4 UFC 100 was the biggest PPV in UFC history, a milestone, and a huge card. Also featuring Brock Lesnar, the combination of the UFC's two biggest stars pushed the event well past the million buy mark on PPV. Who cares about buys, however? How was the fight? Alves started out decent on the feet, but GSP - by then recognized as having the best wrestling in MMA despite never having been a wrestler prior to his MMA career - dominated him by taking him to the mat and controlling him, and he so often did. Somewhere around the third or fourth round, GSP suffered a groin injury which slowed him late, but he'd already won the fight by that point, and picked up a unanimous decision victory.
