Back in 2014, midfield enforcer Fernandinho was made scapegoat for his tender performance in Brazil's Belo Horizonte battering at the hands of a merciless Germany. Now he's the fulcrum of Pep Guardiola's virtually invincible Man City side, the harrowing experience leaving him stronger, not weaker.

He's a polyglot, fluent in no fewer than five languages including Russian, which should come in handy this summer.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
