10 Greatest Star Trek Moments In 2023
7. Stewart Narrates
The memoir of one Sir Patrick Stewart has been on the shelves for Trek fans to devour yet under the radar is the audio version voiced by the author himself.
A book 80 years in its creation, Making It So opened the whole of Sir Patrick Stewart's backstory and in some instances with all the warts to go with it. The audio version is a must since it seeps with Stewart's emotions as he recounts the story of his life. While a book is always a good read, hearing the words from the mouth of its author with his own nuances and emphases is second to none.
It goes without question that there is a substantial section dedicated to The Next Generation, its four movies and Picard. These insights are golden with perhaps the ultimate one being the unfilmed final scene of Picard as proposed by Stewart himself.

Stewart however had envisioned Picard sitting on the porch of his home in La Barre, France with canine companion Number One at his side. He would then be called inside but by a person unknown that would have been voiced by his real life wife, Sunny Ozell. The conundrum posed would have been if this was supposed to be Laris, Beverly or someone else...!
