4. Kids' Quiz Show Contestant Has China On Their Mind
There's always the possibility for a 'darndest things' type moment on any show where the focus is squarely on kids. Nine times out of ten it's something about their sister smelling of doodoo or their mother's gray roots. And it's hilarious... apparently. Anyway, you run the risk with childhood naivety that something horribly upsetting falls out of their yogurt smeared cakeholes and unfortunately/brilliantly this is one of those occasions. The show is a quiz for children, from the 80s. The question is, "What do we mean when we refer to someone as yellow?" Contestant A buzzes in and takes a blind stab at, "Chinese?" Incorrect. Very awkward. Moving on. Contestant B buzzes in. "Cowardly?" The clip becomes legendary when you see that not only did the opposing child get the question right - he's quite possibly Chinese.
