10 Actors Who Now Hate Their Own TV Shows

7. Bradley Cooper - Alias

Years before he became an Oscar-nominated actor and producer, Bradley Cooper starred on the hit spy thriller series Alias as journalist Will Tippin, appearing in almost half of the show's 105 episodes.

Though Cooper was initially a member of the main cast in the first two seasons, his role was gradually reduced, much to his frustration.

He said in a recent interview, "I would only work three days a week. And then for the second season, I got even more sidelined. I was like, 'Ugh.' And then, the next thing you know, I was like, 'I want to f**king kill myself.'"

Cooper eventually worked up the courage to ask J.J. Abrams to write him out of the show, which Abrams complied with at the end of season two. Cooper said of the decision, "[Abrams] probably would've fired me, anyway."

Cooper made two follow-up appearances in later seasons, though struggled with substance abuse and considered quitting the industry altogether.

However, he persevered and ended up winning the career-changing role of Phil in 2008's hit comedy The Hangover, which immediately shot him to stardom and allowed him to become a verifiable A-lister.
