2. How I Met Your Mother
One of the funniest sitcoms ever made is How I Met Your Mother, without a doubt. But many fans agree that Ted Mosby is not the reason why.
Even going beyond the main sin he commits of being by far the least interesting part of his own story - which frankly is the case for all sitcom protagonists - Ted's story just isn't interesting enough to be stretched as long as the story goes on. Add onto that a general whiny demeanor, and you wonder why any woman would look twice at this doofus. Even Barney at his worst is at least more interesting.
When you spend more time talking about your kids' aunt instead of their mother, you know, the person the whole show is predicated on talking about, then you know you just don't have that much to say.
