10 Awesome Sci-Fi TV Shows That Won't Return Until 2021

In the turn-up-for-the-books that nobody would have expected a couple of years ago, DC's Legends of Tomorrow has become the Arrowverse's most consistent show. Yes, like every show, it has its off-seasons, but it's never fallen as far from grace as any of the shared universe's heavy-hitters. And after a lacklustre but funny fourth season, it swung back into our hearts with a solid Season 5.

Unlike the rest of its Arrowverse brethren, Legends had completed shooting by the time that lockdowns and shutdowns had been called into effect, meaning that its fifth season was completed and could entertain us all well after the other shows had run out of episodes. That said, it seems like we'll have to wait a little longer to see these outcasts and misfits battle the aliens we were promised as its currently unknown when the show will be returning.

The sixth season is on its way, but the show was noticeably absent from The CW's January schedule, suggesting that it won't return in the slot that it occupied this year. With that in mind, expect it to make a comeback sometime in the first quarter of 2021 instead.
