4. Junior Soprano The Sopranos
What sort of a man would plot to kill his own nephew? Junior Soprano is who. And not just once either! Juniors relationship with his nephew Tony in the hit HBO show The Sopranos was rarely ever healthy. Knowing that Tony was the real power in their crime family Junior was always jealous. Junior always believed he paid his dues and his time would come after his brother had ruled many years ago, but it doesnt go as he always planned. On several occasions Junior plots to take Tony out of the equation so he can have total power within the New Jersey crime family. However, he never quite pulls it off. Junior has always resented Tony and despite softening in his old age and illness its often Tony who bares his uncles grunt. When Junior finally starts to lose his marbles in old age he shoots Tony in a confused senior moment. Junior has always been ruthless and would think nothing of having a bullet put in his nephew. Despite being a part of his immediate family he shows no remorse at the thought of leaving Tony survived by his wife and two children. Junior is a mean, cantankerous old bugger and has a very short temper. Always consumed with elevating his own position and sealing his control of the crime in New Jersey he tries a variety of ways to get what he wants. Although, he never succeeds.
