10 Behind-The-Scenes Joe Rogan Experience Facts

6. There Is A Covid Testing Regime In Place To Keep In-Person Podcasts Going

Although the high standard of the show has been maintained in remote discussions with the likes of Edward Snowden and Dan Crenshaw, it is clear that fans and Joe himself are keen to keep the show face-to-face as default.

To ensure this, there is a testing regime for Covid-19 in place to ensure the show can be done safely. This involves all insiders being tested daily, and all guests being screened before appearances, using private testing that can deliver a result within 20 minutes. Rogan initially faced criticism with commenters speculating that this kind of use of tests would deprive healthcare workers and the vulnerable of their own tests, he has clarified on the podcast that there is no lack of this type of testing product in the US.

One result of this was a positive Coivd test for Young Jamie in October 2020. In what was presumably a devastating development, this meant that Jamie missed JRE #1554 with “it’s not a rant, it’s a symphony of ideas” Kanye West. Brian Redban reprised his production duties for this podcast.
