One of the greatest television shows to grace the screen over the past ten years, cartoon or not, is Rick And Morty - there isn’t much this sitcom CAN’T offer you. It’s a blend of comedy science fiction which follows the mad scientist Rick Sanchez, who often ropes his good-natured, yet fretful grandson Morty Smith into his crazy schemes and adventures, all whilst underlaid by some gritty family drama.
The show’s language is incredibly explicit and the humour is often edgier than most cartoon sitcoms. But the realism combined with the legitimate grasp on the laws of science is what makes Rick & Morty a near perfect series.
The visuals are outstanding, the characters are distinctive and multi-dimensional, the comedy is sharp and there is never a dull moment to be had.
Rick and Morty could be considered one of the greatest shows currently going, which is why fans can only wait with great anticipation as to what season five beholds.
