10 Best Arcs Of Clone Wars To Watch Before The Finale
6. Darkness On Umbara
When an episode is called Carnage of Krell, what more do you need?
But who is Krell? Just a four armed Jedi that carries two double bladed, folding lightsabers (much like the one Rey held in Rise of Skywalker's dark side vision).
Like many of the characters mentioned in this list, Jedi General Pong Krell is an example of the creators having the freedom to make any character they want. But bar being incredibly fun, the Umbara arc offers as the title suggests a dark storyline, but also a different side to the clone/ jedi relationship.
Heavily featuring clones like Rex and Fives, both regulars of the series, the Umbara arc develops them more than ever, focusing on their determination to be individuals, while questioning the war and their place in it. Krell is unlike any other Jedi we have seen before, helping to show how the Jedi lost their way, while also layering the story with questions about the clones dispensability.
Consisting of the episodes Darkness on Umbara, The General, Plan of Dissent, and Carnage of Krell this arc is filled with amazing action, new weapons, and a gorgeously animated world. The Umbara arc is definitely one for the Clone Wars team to be proud of.
