This guy looks a bit mental and he got promptly eaten by walkers. Believe it or not, there was no direct correlation between his appearance and why the walkers went for him, in their eyes, everyone is a tasty meal.So even though he definitely has the biggest beard to possibly appear on the show, he looses points for bushiness. It also looks incredibly tangled. Although this guy only appeared for a very brief amount of time in one episode of the show, his haggard appearance portrays the harrowing effects of the world that they're now living in. Looks aren't important, but when you're fighting for your life against the undead as well as the living, there really isn't time to even care about what you look like. You'll be tired, you'll be hungry and you'll never feel safe. The guy in the image alongside Rick has obviously been on the road for a long time and his wild appearance confirms that. That is what a survivor looks like. Well, until he gets eaten.
