10 Best Buffy The Vampire Slayer Villains

Faith Lehane (Eliza Dushku) is easily one of the show's most compelling villains. A Slayer called to arms after the death of Kendra, she appears in season three and, despite enjoying the violent aspects of her duty and being a touch temperamental, she seems to be a solid ally for Buffy and the gang.

That slowly hits a snag, though, when she kills a man in cold blood and takes no responsibility for her actions. With a taste for murder and a deep dislike and distrust of Buffy and Giles, she goes on the run and joins forces with Mayor Wilkins (Harry Groener). She battles Buffy, tries to remove Angel's soul, and very nearly kills Angel with a poisoned arrow.

Eventually stopped in her tracks after a prolonged fight with Buffy, she returns in season four still intent on destroying her old friends. She played a major role in the spin-off Angel, and returned in Buffy's final season a new woman, committed to doing good and fulfilling her duty.
