8. Throat Bite
In a call back to The Lost Boys Kiefer Sutherlands vampire bite re-emerged in a shocking, bloody moment of the day 6 premiere. Having previously been captured by the Chinese, Jack was returned to the United States and immediately turned over to terrorist mastermind Abu Fayed for interrogation. Clearly he underestimated how little Bauer wanted to be imprisoned and tortured. As soon as the tied up Bauer was left alone with his guard Jack killed him the only way he could - by ripping his throat out with his teeth. Even amongst all of the show's controversial torture sequences, this moment stands out as a shocking point of raw savagery.
