Nina Myers. The ultimate 24 villain. Later series tried to create others, bringing the President and Jack's own father to the dark side, but nobody came close to Nina. She spent the whole first series working at Jack's side and when the idea of there being a mole in CTU was raised she survived the enquiries. As the reveal was made my thoughts went something like this; 'Not Nina. Shes Jacks partner. She couldnt possibly Ninawhy are you speaking German? Oh God, no! Come to think of it shes always had a look about her.' With the audience finding out before the other characters, the show turned up the tension so high that even for the new standards that the first season was setting for television drama, the wait for next weeks episode was unbearable.
