10 Best Heartwarming Lessons South Park Ever Taught Us
1. The Importance Of Friendship
With the exception of Cartman, most of the "boys" on South Park are pleasant kids in a roundabout way. While the obnoxious hubris of Stan, the impulsive recklessness of Kenny or the bluntness of Kyle can be classed as irritating, the boys have banded together on multiple occasions to support one another.
Albeit the childlike minds of all the kids have escalated from misunderstanding a situation to full-blown wrecking the town, but their intentions have come from good places and to support one another.
The closest and most honest friendship on the show would be between Stan and Kyle, who operate as avatars for Trey Parker and Matt Stone. At the beginning of the series, the boys were foul-mouthed figurines that blasted each other with every obscenity, but as time has gone by Stan and Kyle have displayed the healthiest of friendships.
For pre-teens sneaking a peak at the show, they might just enjoy the toilet humour and horrific misbehaviours of Eric Cartman. But take away the fact that the boys have had rivalries, feuds and on occasion became enemies, and there's still the closing message that they're always going to be friends.
