The Tourist is a miniseries that stars Jamie Dornan as a man with severe amnesia attempting to piece together the car crash that upended his life, much like Memento but with heaps more humour and unpredictable twists.
Proving to be madly popular in the UK, the thriller is set in Australia, and uses the vast, deadly expanse of the Outback to kick its drama off with an opening scene sure to grip even the most unsure of viewers.
Much like The Responder, The Tourist is action-heavy and mysterious, but is perhaps best seen for the performances at its centre. Dornan in particular shines as a man unsure of his past and desperate for answers, whilst co-stars Danielle Macdonald and Shalom Brune-Franklin bring an added level of poignancy to his journey.
