4. Moving Up
Despite the fact that there was another whole season to come after this, the sixth season finale sort of felt like an ending. Leslie is leaving the parks department and getting ready for surprise triplets with Ben, and everyone seems to be saying goodbye. But what better time and place for a big cathartic moment than at the Unity Concert? Complete with a holographic appearance from Li'l Sebastian and what is probably the greatest visual pun of our times with the tribute band called Bobby Knight Ranger. If this had actually been the show's finale, everyone probably would have been OK with that. But then bam, surprise, they've time jumped three years into the future, with Leslie frazzled but successful at her new job, Ben in a tux, three adorable munchkins as their children, and viewers' are suddenly dying to see what happens in the next season. This is how good all season finales should be.
