Although Lilah Morgan was never a main character on the show, her impact on the first four seasons was massive and she remains one of the series' most complex and compelling characters. Introduced in the first season as a lawyer working from the Big Bad law firm Wolfram and Hart, she quickly proved herself to be a ruthless, cunning and highly capable antagonist.

As the show progressed, though, Lilah proved to be much more than a villain - she was also a broken and confused woman whose brief relationship with Wesley proved to be a character high point, showing fans just how strong and versatile a performer Stephanie Romanov could be.

Much like Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lilah was great to watch whether she was being evil, deceptive or sweet, and though Season 5 remains the show's high point in many respects, Lilah's presence is still greatly missed in the final run of episodes.
